About Elan Vital Studios

Elan Vital Studios is an independent music company based in Omaha, Nebraska. We exist because making good music shouldn't require signing away your rights.

We're not trying to be a major label. We're a place for Omaha artists to release their music with real support behind it — production, distribution, promotion — without the exploitative terms that have defined the industry for decades.

The Deal

Artists signed to Elan Vital Studios retain 100% master ownership and keep 100% of their distribution royalties. The only split is a standard 50/50 publishing arrangement through Songtrust, which is required for publishing administration. Distribution is handled through TuneCore to all major streaming platforms.

We charge $100 per song for production services — tracking, mixing, mastering, whatever the project needs. If you're releasing through the label, production costs are waived. We make our money when you make money.

The Studio

“The Spot” is our recording studio in Omaha. It's where the work gets done — tracking, mixing, mastering, and everything in between. Available for sessions by any artist, not just those signed to the label.
